Shake the foundation of my worldview
Bring me revolution
Bring my cozy little palace on a hill of sand
tumbling
down
Shake it, test it, break it
Put its inadequacy on display
Destroy it - I insist
Challenge me, break me
Put all that I am to the test
Show me that everything I ever thought was a lie
Tear it
down! Right now!
I have no need for flimsy constructs
And when there is no stone left standing from behind which to hide
i can build anew.

A Poem
I’m not very adept at writing poetry, but I wanted to express an I idea I’ve been mulling around in my head as of late. Any feedback? Can you tell what it’s about?
Conception bittersweet,
Exquisite child borne too late,
I’ll cradle you in perpetuity,
Swaddled to my breast.
Promises of summer manifest precocious,
As one-by-one I pluck your green fruits.
Dante for Beatrice,
Shuffle off your sad mortal coil,
Swaddled in cellophane,
Immortality granted through death.
